01/19/2012 - I do want to start by emphasizing this administration's commitment to transparency in aid and in foreign assistance, but also in asking for your help. And, I'll conclude with a few specific areas where I hope you as a community will continue to push and continue to help push the thinking forward on what the standards ought to be that we all try to achieve.

01/26/2012 - On December 19, 2011, the day after International Migrants Day, I found myself on a plane from Almaty, Kazakhstan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, for a business trip. I was surrounded by Tajik laborers returning home to celebrate the New Year.
